We looked to one of the world’s most advanced forms of food-safe packaging — the humble tea bag — and asked: what if wrapping paper could be made just as clean, compostable, and natural?
Most wrapping papers today are coated with plastic films that prevent composting and create unnecessary waste. Terraveil™ was created to change that. The result is a paper crafted from premium conifer fibres, using plant-based materials instead of plastic coatings.

Terraveil™ begins in the FSC‑certified conifer forests of Canada — one of only two global sources for this grade of pulp. Long, strong conifer fibres create a paper that feels smooth yet resilient, giving Terraveil™ its distinct strength.

Each sheet of Terraveil™ is produced using water that exceeds drinking‑water standards, in high‑temperature and dust‑free facilities. This ultra‑clean process ensures the paper remains free from contamination and microplastics.
Born Plastic Free
Plant‑based and fully compostable with no plastic coatings.
Unlike conventional wrapping paper coated with plastic film, Terraveil™ uses plant‑based PLA for its heat‑sealable layer. Both our heat‑sealable and non‑sealable versions are certified biodegradable, ensuring that Terraveil™ naturally returns to the earth after use.
